We are a
And want to get involved
Church
We are looking forward to working with you as you explore becoming a Church Partner. We recommend an initial in-person or virtual meeting to begin the conversation. Contact Emily Wood, emily@mosaichope.org to learn more or to set up an initial exploration meeting.
A church partner commits to:
PRAY
Prayer is foundational to the mission of Mosaic Hope. Join us in praying for those impacted by foster care in our community.
GET INVOLVED
The Bible teaches that as the Body of Christ, we each possess different gifts; and we are asked to use those gifts together. The people in your congregation are truly the most valuable resource when it comes to supporting those in the foster care system. There are so many ways to get involved in all areas of our mission.
GIVE
There isn't a financial requirement to become a church partner, however, if your church would like to financially partner with Mosaic Hope, you can commit to support us monthly or with a one-time gift. Prayerfully decide on an amount that works with your church’s vision and budget.
Ways your church can get involved
Allow Us to Speak to Your Congregation
Pick a date that works for your church - you provide lunch (or another meal), we share WHAT the needs are in our county and HOW your congregation can get involved.
Foster Care Ministry Lunch
Commit to having STAND Sunday in November. You can find more information at www.standsunday.com
Stand Sunday
Commit to having a Blue Sunday in April for Child Abuse Prevention Month. You can find more information at https://www.bluesunday.org/.

Wrap-Around Foster Parents in Your Community
If you are interested in starting or enhancing a wrap-around community or ministry within your organization, we would love to walk alongside you and provide wrap-around training and ministry consultation for your group.
Once a month we want to treat our local social workers. Your church can provide a meal (breakfast or lunch) and send several volunteers to serve.

Host a Respite Event or Support Group
You can join us in supporting foster families by hosting a Respite Event at your church. You plan a fun morning or afternoon for kids, recruit and background check volunteers from your church, and we promote the event to foster families! Help us make support groups available by providing space and child care
